Movement With Meaning

Our programs don't just teach students to perform, they build the skills that every classroom and career demands. Through dance, cheer, musical theatre, and color guard, students develop physical coordination, emotional resilience, and the confidence to express themselves in front of others. Every session is structured to grow the whole student: body, mind, and voice.

  • Builds self-esteem and peer connection

  • Improves fitness, and stress management

  • Develops discipline and emotional expression

  • Culminating performances showcases

Dance

After School + Intersession

Explore movement and rhythm in a program designed to build confidence. Students journey through styles like ballet and hip-hop, focusing on coordination and physical fitness. This course provides a safe space for self-expression, allowing students to discover their artistic voice while developing discipline.

Beyond steps, we emphasize the history of different genres. Through practice and choreography, students learn to communicate emotion and work as a team. The experience culminates in performances that celebrate growth, teaching the value of preparation and the thrill of sharing art with an audience.

Raquel Ramirez

Director of Performing Arts

Raquel is a signed recording artist and performing arts educator from California's Central Valley.

She's shared the stage with The S.O.S. Band, The Mary Jane Girls, Tierra, and Tower of Power, was a finalist on the 49ers Gold Rush Cheer Team, and currently performs with Royal Caribbean. As a coach, she led the Kings Canyon Color Guard/Dance team to Grand Sweepstakes and Best in Show.

She brings that professional stage experience directly into the classroom, building programs where students discover what performing arts can unlock.
