Raquel Ramirez

Work ED, Director of Performing Arts and Development

Raquel is a signed recording artist and seasoned performer from California’s Central Valley. Starting at age seven with her family band, she has shared the stage with acts such as The S.O.S. Band, The Mary Jane Girls, Tierra, and Tower of Power. Known for her vibrant energy and nostalgic flair, she blends Latin old school and cumbia influences in both her performances and classroom.

Raquel led the Kings Canyon Color Guard/Dance team to multiple top awards, including Grand Sweepstakes and Best in Show. She was a finalist on the 49ers Gold Rush Cheer Team, coached by Shasta Sprenkel. She is currently a performer in theater and stage productions with Royal Caribbean.

As an experienced arts educator, Raquel is passionate about inspiring students through engaging, culturally rich lessons that highlight the transformative power of music, dance, and creative expression.
