Itinerary
Game Design
Start your journey in games by discovering all of the different roles that come together to create a game project and find out which role speaks to you the most.
Learn how to scope out a game and decide what it will look like, how it works, and who will want to play it. Work as a team to come up with the foundation, story and main characters for your game!
Prepare and give your final game presentation with your team and show off your hard work to your friends and parents who are joining us for our final ceremony celebration!
Esports
Learn about the many different career opportunities in the exciting field of Esports. Dive deep into all the roles that come together to put on massive Esports events
Create your own team with friends and learn about what goes into the mentality of a professional gamer. You don't have to be great to get started but you have to get started to be great!
This curriculum wraps up with an event to showcase your skills. Prepare to take part in a Super Smash Bros Ultimate tournament to compete for glory!
Music Production
Start with an introduction to Music Production and learning the origins of great music. Then through activities, learn how to begin building simple beats
Explore Ableton software as you learn how Drums, Bass, Chords, and Melodies build off one another to create a musical experience
Show off your work! Listen without judgement to the music everyone created throughout the program
Storytelling & World Building
We show you how to develop this powerful tool and use the Storybrand framework which breaks down how to tell a compelling story which captivates our listeners
Students will apply their understanding to the creation of a Storybrand which will be shared with the class that includes the following components: character, problem, guide, plan, action, success & failure.
From job interviews to making new friends, storytelling is all around us. By sharing with classmates students will gain the skills needed to be confident in their public speaking as well as their ability to weave together an engaging story.
Drones & Aviation
Students will dive deep into aviation applications, careers, and how to navigate using drones in futuristic careers across the nation.
Together they will develop a drone use case in which they outfit their drone through a design project with the features necessary to solve the given problem.
Students also learn about the future of drone technology and how that is shaping the future careers they may join later in educational pathways.
